Tournaments Levels
The DANCECOIN Ranking System categorizes dance competitions into three levels to accommodate different scales and scopes of events, ensuring that every competitor can shine across varied platforms. The categories are as follows:
1. Ranking Tournaments:
These are entry-level competitions designed to encourage participation from a wide range of dancers. Points awarded in these tournaments have a multiplier of x0.5, meaning the points are halved compared to standard competitions. This level is a great starting point for new dance circuit competitors.
2. Prestige Tournaments:
These events serve as the standard tier and offer a multiplier of x1.0. The point values listed in the regulations apply directly to these tournaments. Prestige events strike a balance between competitiveness and accessibility, making them ideal for dancers looking to elevate their rankings seriously.
3. Royal Tournaments:
These top-tier competitions offer the highest rewards, with a multiplier of x2.0 on points. Participating in Royal tournaments doubles your earned points, reflecting the high stakes and elite level of competition.

7th place (in the final): 20 points
8th place and beyond: 10 points
Uncontested will be rewarded with 20 points
In the case of 2 couples competing:
1st - 30 pts, 2nd - 20 pts

1st - 40 pts, 2nd - 30 pts, 3rd - 20 pts,
In the case of 4 couples competing:
1st - 50 pts, 2nd - 40 pts, 3rd - 30 pts, 4th - 20 pts,

Conditions for Participation and Award Distribution:
- Submission of Results: Organizers must send competition results to the DANCECOIN Ranking System immediately after the event concludes.
- Participation Agreement: Organizers must agree to participate in the DANCECOIN Ranking System by signing a short agreement to ensure their events are recognized within our system.
Discrepancies and Penalties:
- Reporting Discrepancies: Any scoring or point accumulation discrepancies must be reported via email within 30 days after the event. Reports should include the name of the competition and the contested categories.
- Conduct Penalties: Participants, including dancers and teachers, may face forfeiture of all points and awards for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Earning and Redemption:
- Point Conversion: 10 Ranking Point earned equals 1 DANCECOIN for the 2024 season. Ranking authorities can valorize it at the beginning of the season based on the market value of the DANCECOIN.
- Immediate Payout: DANCECOINs are payable and transferred to the participant’s wallet immediately after each tournament.
Discrepancies and Penalties:
- Reporting Inaccuracies: If the scores contain inaccuracies, participants must report them to office@dancecoin.io (please insert the correct email address) within 30 days of the end of the relevant event.
- Accepted Communication Methods: Discrepancy reports are accepted exclusively via email. Reports through phone calls, Facebook messages, or other social media will not be acknowledged.
- Penalties for Misconduct: For unsportsmanlike behavior, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the awards of points to any participant.
